This was our 1st time at Myrtle Beach RV Park, and in our RV in general. I can only say wonderful thing about the entire place. We visited in July 2010, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the park was super clean. The bath houses, were cleaned at least 3 times a day, it seemed like whenever we went in someone was in there with a mop. Our site was perfect!!! We were 5 spots away from the beach and 4 from the bath house, and a few more steps to the pool. We know from past visits to condos at MB that this time of year can be crazy, but I never felt like we were on top of everyone like you do in a big condo complex. All I can say is, I am counting down the days till we can come back. We will come back here again!!! Great Great GREAT PLACE!!!!!

Great place to stay! I loved the option of the short walk to the beach or to the pools. We didn't leave the grounds for 4 days. Staff was nice. The campground is well kept and the bath houses are very clean. We were there for 2 weeks and are planning to go back.

This is the best campground in Myrtle Beach. Very quiet, lots of activities for the family. We especially liked the fact that golf carts are not allowed. The sites are all pull thru which is wonderful. Staff was very friendly and the Breakfast By The Sea cafe is the best. Food was great and so were the prices. We will never stay at another campground at Myrtle Beach. This was our first but definitely not the last stay.

we have stayed here for the last three years and simply love it . every year we bring more campers with us , first year we had one , this year we had five . the lack of golf carts and the laid back atmosphere is what we love so much. the abundance of aviable resturants , shopping ,all major attractions . and esepecially th staf and the way the grounds are kept is an automatic attraction . can't wait until next aug .

Great park for all ages. Our first stay here as we usually go to Ocean Lakes. Each site with shelter over picnic table nice. Good breakfasts at lil cg restaurant. Teens stayed happy and going whole time without leaving campground (6 nights). I like this end of Myrtle. It was very hot and no interest in cooking or grilling, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We stayed very near beach and pool, great location. I understand MBTP will not reserve a certain site but friends tell me they have never had a problem getting within section they requested. We just told them would like to be as close to pool as possible and were very happy with it. No golf carts which suited us fine. Pretty loud music at pool much of the time which didn't bother me until we changed campgrounds and did notice the difference. Only minus for me was no free internet. My teens still rate Ocean Lakes best. Fireworks at night bother neurotic dog but that's our problem.

I stay at MBTP several times a year. My parents own a fifth wheel camper they store down there. You cannot get through the gates without a pass, so good security. Good family oriented park. There is an indoor and great outdoor pool with lazy river, convenience store and laundromat, ice cream parlor, arcade, etc. Great entertainment spot down by the beach. The bathhouses have all been, or are in the process of, being renovated and they are excellent facilities. We stay down by the beach and those sites are very nice and spacious. No trouble parking 2 vehicles at your space. They keep the grounds cleaned, road scraped as needed, etc. There are permanent sites for rental that are also very nice. There's a very nice pond on site, with spaces surrounding it. There is cable TV included in the price. You can pay extra for wireless internet access. The monthly charges are very reasonable. Daily and weekly a little more. You are very close to restaurants, golf courses, the outlets and other shopping, etc. We have actually walked to the Tanger outlets. Wal-mart a mile or so away! Pets allowed. Great beach access. We always meet new people, everyone is friendly. My parents, who stay down there about 4 months out of the year, have made some great friends and they all come back "and rough it at the beach" every year.

I have been staying at MBTP since I was a youngster camping with my parents. We stayed there the first year it opened. My wife and I have been staying there since we started camping in 1989 and have always enjoyed it. They are in the process of building new very modern bathhouses throughout the park that are very nice. The campground is near many excellent restarants, grocery stores, Walmart of course, and is a short drive to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. The sites on the beach are all pull through and can accomodate the largest rigs. They do not rent golf carts to guests which is a big plus for me. They have a good indoor/outdoor pool area and a lazy river. Paddle boats can be rented. The camp store is well stocked and prices are not too out of line with the major grocery stores. Another plus for me is the long stretch of isolated undeveloped beach just north of the campground. It is a small wildlife refuge that will hopefully never be developed. It stretches almost 2 miles up the beach.

This has become our favorite campground in Myrtle Beach. It is a little smaller than the other large campgrounds in the area. They do not rent golf carts to guests.....and that is a huge advantage over the others. You can roam around freely without fear of being run over by hundreds of teenagers. We had a campsite by the lake. This area has lots of trees, and is just a few short steps to the swimming pool complex, the camp store, snack bar, and laundry. They have daily activities for children by the pool. The bathroom/showers are new and spotless. This campground is closer to "restaurant row", Broadway At The Beach, and Barefoot Landing. We won't stay anywhere else in Myrtle Beach.
