We stayed at the Gulf Breeze RV Resort Easter weekend. The campground is very clean, well maintained and family oriented. Bath houses are very clean and big. If you like the beach but don't want to stay on the beach it is very nice. Close enough to drive there without all the traffic and crowds. The staff is somewhat impolite if you have to deal with them, but the park makes up for them. Sites were well spaced out. When we made our reservations the rate was $28 per night, but when we checked-in we were told the rate had gone up to $30 and were charged $30 instead of $28. My husband felt is was not worth complaining about the extra $6. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool because it was cold that weekend.

Gulf Breeze RV Resort is located just off highway 59 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. There are 200 mostly open sites with concrete patios. All have full hookups and cable television. The facility is well maintained and reasonably well designed. The facility has a laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tub, shuffleboard, basketball court, horseshoes, and an activity pavilion. We stayed a week and our cost was $120 plus tax (02-00). We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and even shot some baskets on the basketball court. The staff was friendly and helpful and there were multiple locations where I could plug my computer in and send and receive email. Based on location, price, and overall quality, we would recommend Gulf Breeze RV Resort.

This is a wonderful park, but we would not go back. The reason for this is the attitude of the management and personnel. They make us feel like intruders that are not welcome.
