the only reason I have said yes,I would stay again is because my parents on a regular basis stay there...for about 4 years now.I have noticed that the park is going down hill on what kind of rvs and patrons they are allowing each year. For example,Camper Lane is a reserved seasonal area that you have to be there for a season or more toobtain a site there..there are now campers with flat tires, not kept up sites, there is an older motorhome with orginal 1970 something plates on it that was towed in there because it does not run,in that same area last year homeless people with tarps on their camper roofs,a long with rocks holding the tarps, a campsite that a woman has acquired every kind of plastic nick nack a front yard can take,,and there is NO special dog area for dogs pooping and the resort is over run with dogs, with too many pit bulls. This causes a problem for us runners when there are dogs being allowed everywhere, and so much for enjoying a walk to the ponds after stepping in a huge pile of dog crap. There is also no regulations or inspections for golf carts, many are loud due to being run down/my parents would never say a word to Eric because they say it makes matters worse,,they love the scenery there, rolling hills and my father fishes there as he cant get around well now a days. I just wish the owners would really think about rules for all, rules for dogs and their droppings. The campers he lets in look unsafe enough that they could cause problems with the kept up sites next to them. Also remember if you are letting in a whole family from another campground.its probably because they were asked nicely to leave, take the time to preserve the peace of others.

Received from Elizabeth Parks for visit in Jul 2014
