Immediately upon arrival the owner raced up to our camper and stated that our son couldnt ride the electric scooter that was strapped to the back of our camper. He had never met us before and had no way of knowing the age of our son. He is 17 and 1/2. Their policy is that no one under 18 can ride an electric scooter. Seems like age discrimination. Judging based on appearance. When checking in we were told that there was no fishing because Otters ate all the fish. Their website states "two private lakes - both have wonderful fishing." This is false advertising. Our main reason for going to this campground was for some great fishing. We wanted to have 4 visitors for 2 hours. The cost for 4 visitors was $32. The owner was unwilling to negotiate the price even though we said our visitors would check in and check out and stay only 2 hours. The owner was very loud and rude. He has no tact or customer service skills. Due to the negative behavior of the owner we decided to leave and not camp at the campground. Later I emailed the campground and asked for a refund due mainly to the lack of fishing. The owner was unwilling to refund the camping charges. Besides this, the campground charges for everything from showers, small wood bundles cost $6, wifi, $15 for daily wristbands for certain kids activities and they even charge for hay rides. Due to the extremely negative and loud behavior of the owner, combined with an unwillingness to negotiate visitor fees and false advertising about the "great" fishing, I didnt and will never camp at this campground.

Received from Jack for visit in Jun 2014
