Campground is rustic no hook ups. Will handle small popup or TT. As noted before, museum is nice. Its worth a visit but not my kind of campground. If you want more modern go to Sleeping Bear CG in Lander. Owner is great. CG over looks the town. Neat at night. See review.

If you are coming from the East heading to Tetons/Yellowstone, take US 287 NW. A good place to stop is Lander. Good restaurants in town. Sinks Canyon is a good place to stop overnight. This is wild, goes on forever and historical, country on 287 all the way into the Tetons from Rawlins where it starts. A ranger at the Cheyenne welcome centers told us to try this way and come back out to Cody. He was right. The campground itself is 12 miles up a canyon ask for directions in town it is confusing. The CG is dry and so so for RV's. For Tenters it is a 5 with you setting up in private five feet from the creek surrounded by woods and a nice little trail across the creek for a morning 15 minute hike. The Sinks Canyon museum and where the river goes into the ground and comes up again 1 mile down is a very unique and wonderful couple of hour activity. I highly recommend the area for a half day and overnight.
