This is one of the nicest parks we have camped in. Well laid out with large sites, entrance is blacktopped. All sites are graveled with well-maintained gravel roads throughout the park. Back in sites are larger than most. There are quite a few seasonal campers that are very friendly. Very clean w/ huge trees provide lots of shade but there are also sites towards the front that have more sun. Mostly seen big rigs in that area, probably for their satellite connections. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely be back. We camped there in a Travel Trailer.

This has become one of our favorite places to camp. We didn’t know it existed until our friends suggested it a few years ago. We are mostly weekend campers with 3 children. There were plenty of organized activities (including arts & crafts) for the kids as well as a stocked fishing pond. The family entertainment at the pavilion was wonderful. The staff seems to go out of their way to help and is very courteous. (One note, if you’re pulling a camper and you’re smart, follow the directions on their web page, we didn’t our first time and it was a big hill to climb.) Also, I’d like to comment on the breakfast buffet. If you not in the mood for cooking, go to the breakfast buffet. The food (quality/price) was unbeatable. Columbus Day Weekend was our third visit and we will camp there again. We camped in a 5th wheel.
