After reading the other review I had to write a review. This campground is located in the Pikes Peak region of the mountains that doesnt mean it is near Pikes Peak, but the drive there is beautiful (remember your on vacation and should be taking the time to enjoy your surroundings). The KOA property is on a hill, but the sites are level, the higher the site the better the view of the sunsets, we stayed in site 130 at the top of the hill what a view we had. Cell service is good (verizon) and we never had a problem, WiFi was good but once again we never had a problem connecting. I would recommend this KOA. The other person wrote there are nicer campgounds in the area ??? where??? we checked out the others and they are on a hill, spaces are very close together and are either in a valley along CO67 or right in town, so how are they better????

Searched online for a park close to Pikes Peak attractions and this campground came up. This is nowhere near most attractions around Pikes Peak. You must drive an hour to get anywhere. The sites are not level and they are on the side of a mountain (very steep). They pack you in like sardines... on top of each other and right next to each other. There is no cell phone service. There are much nicer campsites in the area and at better prices. The owner was very rude as well. Would never recommend this place.
