Nice size lots for a State Forest campground.
Hiking trails attached to each loop.
Near to Sleeping Bear Dunes but a bit of a walk to Lake Michigan.

Nice park with alot of tree's. Very clean park. Large Swimming pool was closed for winter but spa was open and great. Large clubhouse had free coffee and muffins every morning. Nice showers, no extra charge & plenty of hot water. Laundry too. Store was well stocked and not outrageous. Propane was pricey. Nice Mountain views. Only a couple miles to Lone Pine and Alabama Hills. Would request a higher number space next time, they were farther away from the road. Trade off longer walk to store & pool. Goats were cute! Inside huge bird cage was cool & so were the turtles! :) $30 for pull through spot well worth the money. Cold this time of year, only 38' at 8 am! Days in mid 70's. :)

My friend and I were out there for 6 nights and 7 days. We really enjoyed the camping it is quite peaceful out there. The hunting on the other hand sucks. We started out on the 1st of Oct. with our hunt for deer and didn't see a single deer out there. We moved our stands around a couple of times and only saw 3 deer which would not come in to take a shot at them. We came home empty handed, but the whole camping experence is well worth the trip. The showers and bathrooms are bar none to the rest of the places I have stayed...clean and well maintained. Overall it was great time out there.
