Boulder Creeks is primarily an RV park and is a very poor choice for tent campers. The few, small tent sites are grossly overpriced (it cost $60 for 6 of us to stay one night) and are along rte 395 where the noise and lights from trucks passing by will keep you awake all night. We did not sleep a wink.

For a park on Hwy 395 it wasn't to bad as far as freeway noise, the park was clean and had trees which would be a must in that area in the summer time. the store, pool, and clubhouse were comfortable, the rest rooms were clean. they only had 9 TV chanels, a dish set-up would be nice in this area. supprised the park doesn't have one installed.sorry I have pictures but they are on a disk some where.

Great spot for the Lone Pine and Mt. Whitney area. Management is cordial and helpful. Sites are not paved, but are clean and comfortable. Huge pancakes at the Mt. Whitney Portal... an interesting mountain drive from the park.
