Campsite was pleasant, but not private, even though it said average privacy. We love to hike, but were disappointed to find that the only trail was closed for logging! With boys 4, 6 & 8, there is a great playground that helped to take away some of the boredom. Most of the rest of our time was spent in the water falls & river - we had a blast to swimming and build dams. We even jumped off the "cliff" into the pool of water below. The pool is about 8 to 9 ft. deep and is on the last tier of the water falls - very safe, just jump out from the rocks. Oh, bring water shoes as the rocks are very slippery. We rented a canoe from the park, $10 / hr, and they provide life jackets, and paddles. Kids loved canoeing in the still river. We saw some wild life, but nothing really exciting. Racoons bothered us 2 of our 3 nights, even though we were careful with our food, but they still climbed all over our dishes, and pushed over boxes looking for food. I think that we would leave most stuff in the van next time overnight. The washrooms were sufficient, mostly clean, but not stellar. We are undecided whether we would return here or not - time will tell.
