Enota is the most BEAUtiful mountain retreat I have been to yet!! I enjoyed hiking the trails and visiting the gorgeous waterfalls! There were plenty of camping sites along the river as well as the Applalachian trail that has places where you can camp out at as well ... That is if you are really looking for some adventure and some heart to heart moments with mother nature! The staff at Enota are very welcoming and extremely kind! I have a dog who goes with me EVERYWHERE and he had a blast roaming in the woods and splashing in the river! Enota is EXTREMELY dog friendly which is another thing that I love so much about Enota! I will defiantly be back to explore more and enjoy all the beauty Enota has to offer! :) p.s. The trout pond was great too! My family and I just finished a tasty dinner that consisted of the cooked trout my brother caught from the Enota trout pond and some other goodies we cooked up to go with it!! MMM! The cooked trout was delicious!

I led a group of 20 children on their first week long expedition away from their families, tenting no less. The camp was beautiful and staff exceptional. The trip overall was an unbelievable success and I would recommend it to anyone.

Surrounded by National Forests with RV and camping sites adjacent to streams and waterfalls. Also has cabins. Very quiet and scenic. Within easy driving distance of many local scenic spots and attractions such as the Georgia Mountain Fair as well as local festivals, etc. Management works to maintain the natural beauty of the campground. Great family spot. Quiet atmosphere. Helpful staff.

Just returned from a fantastic week at in the North Ga. mountains. The campsites were a bit tight, but the location, people and facilities made for one of our best vacations yet. The campground is beautiful with abundant trails, scenic creeks and waterfalls everywhere and a wonderful farm. Our kids (ages 8&9) enjoyed helping out with the animals and really enjoyed the education that the farm manager provided on the responsibility of raising animals. We stayed eight days and ended up spending the majority of our time at the campground rather than taking in the sights of the surrounding area. I would recommend this to anyone who would enjoy a relaxing getaway in the North Ga Mountains.

A great quiet rustic get away from civilization; see wildlife, beautiful waterfalls, and trails to hike right outside your doorstep. A great place to hike the Appalachian Trail, which is about a half mile away from Enota. View their web site for other things to do (fishing, buy organically grown vegetables, pet small farm animals, etc). A very nice way for the family to escape from civilization.

This is a beautiful location. We loved the streams and waterfalls. The kids enjoyed playing in the shallow water and the ducks that came to visit our site. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful, lending us a tarp to keep a tent dry when a family in our party forgot to bring one. The kids had a great time jumping on the inground trampolines, collecting eggs, and milking the cow. Enota is very close to many great areas to hike and state parks. We had fabulous weather and enjoyed an Easter picnic on the top of Brasstown Bald before heading back home. This was our second trip and we will definitely be back.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere. We camped by a stream and it was beautiful. The kids jumped on the trampolines, played in the stream and enjoyed the hikes to the waterfalls. We are waiting for the best weather to camp again.

Beautiful campground, very peaceful and quiet. We were Tent camping, so the only inconvenience was the distance from the campsite to the Showers/Restrooms. But not so much of an inconvenience that would prevent me from staying at Enota again.

Very friendly people work there, the site we stayed on had a creek out our back window with a nice view. We had our Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings right at the lodge, we dined with about 60 people we did not know but after dinner they were all like family. There was so much to do and see in this area and the mountains are just breathtaking.

Our family had a wonderful time at Enota. It is a great place for kids and adults alike. The setting is beautiful, the staff was very friendly, and the farm was so neat. We hiked to the 200' waterfall with Spirit, the resident guide dog, and it was amazing! We cannot wait to go back!
