i think there should be a swimming pool added to the camp ground area.there is not much for children to do there.I also think there should be a reinforced bike trail from town to rockwood, many children dangerously ride their bikes to the park.Is their a grant program or a fund raiser event that could help implament these additions?I would definately donate my time and resorces.

Morrison Rockwood is a lovely state park with a terrific campground. The campsites are well spaced and almost all are wooded. All of sites are electric and have access to one of the cleanest shower houses with flush toilets I have ever seen. There is also a restaurant at the boat house that serves a great breakfast, make sure you try the pancakes. For those who have horses, there are lots of horse trails the connect to the horse campground.

Everything we wanted in a campsite, and more. Most Excellent!!! Kudos to all the folks that made our stay so wonderful. We have a pull behind trailer and pulled in at about 4:00 pm on Friday. A beautiful park. The sites are wooded, and far enough away from others you get the privacy you want. There are many great sites to choose from. A truck comes around with wood & ice. Wood was $4.00 and ice was $1.25. How nice. I can't wait to go back and camp again. Clean, quiet, and relaxing. Awesome camping area. a must see for yourself.

Very nice campground about 10 miles off of I-88. There are about 100 sites and most are wooded. Some are on the small side and can only accomodate a tent or maybe pop-up. We arrived about 6 PM on a Friday afternoon and there weren't that many sites left, maybe 10 or so and many were right across from or next to the pit poilets. We ended up with a nice wooded site just big enough for the pop-up and pretty level. We also lucked out with just being 2 sites down from a path to the shower house with flush toilets, which were very clean. They don't have a check-in station, so the campground hosts come around in the evening and collect the fees. All sites are electric and $15 per night. The hosts did say they expected the campground to be full later that night. Overall the camping was good, there were a couple of barking dogs here and there but nothing too horrible. The nights were quiet. One things we did notice when we arrived was that some people obviously arrived earlier and placed a small tent on the prime sites to reserve them. I can't understand how the campground staff allows this and it is simply not fair to the other campers. I guess they could do a better job of enforcing the rules here.
