My wife and I travel in our 39' motorcoach (pulling an 18' trailer) all over the US, and out of all the campgrounds we have stayed at, this one is the worst. Mainly because the couple who own it will tell you anything to get you to come there. I asked about a pullthrough: Husband said yes. I asked about a clear sky above me to use my satellite: once again, husband lied. Then, after getting there @ 6PM, I find neither. We had to park on a ridiculous hill that made us nearly roll off the bed when we got in it. I asked for some blocks or something. They said they would bring us some. Never happened. I went the next day to ask to move to another site. "Nothing open" was the reply. Yet I saw several that were not taken. My wife wanted to see some of the local sites (and LL Bean), so we needed to stay a second night. I went to the woman at 2:30 PM to tell her we were leaving in the morning, and would not be staying the third night. She said, "we don't give refunds". I said "give me a different site then". She said no. I asked her to refund my money. She argued with me, and then said she would. We left the next morning, and I just got my credit card bill yesterday, and no refund. She said."Your notice wasn't 24 hours ahead of time. We checked in at 6PM, and I let her know at 2:30 the day BEFORE we needed the site. Stay anywhere but there. The facilities are crappy too. Camper beware. They will tell you anything you want to hear to get you there.
