Convenient location but some gps devices may take you past the campground. Hosts very friendly and helpful as our site was very sloping and we could not get level. Moved to a better site, no problem. Sites are gravel and not many are truly level. Take some extra blocks. Shower and restrooms are very well kept. Overall quiet and peaceful. There is a nice playground for the kids. When making reservation be sure to ask for Good Sam discount in advance.

Arrogant and Rude hosts and owner. People rented pontoons but because of the natural disaster were not permitted to take out and given no refund or re schedule date. Only information that was given was to call your travel insurance for assistance. Same with the sites that people through the disaster could not make it in, no refund, no re scheduling.

Campground is good good but if you use a credit card for a reservation you will not get a refund. They have a 30 day cancellation policy, under 30 days you get no money return.I learned the hard way,I had a break down on the way there and had to cancell and lost $45.oo.

Very nice campground. Clean showerhouse. Lots of room between sites. Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, Carnifax State Park,New River Gorge State Park, Mystery Hole all very close to visit. No laundry faciltiy,no pool. No direct access to lake. Can swim at lake. Not as crowded as other 2 main campgrounds closeby.
