This place was way too cramped and I was misled during our phone reservation conversation. She had started to book us in Site 10, then i said "we had a big tent, a family 2 room", she said "ok, I'll move you to Site 12." I never received the email confirmation like she said I would. Then we get there, and she's got us in Site 10.
We get there and the site is almost no bigger than my SUV, plus no where to park said SUV! The place to put the tent wouldn't have even fit our junior pup tent well. The picnic table was almost in the road and the firepit was a 3/4 circle into the side of a hill!
We looked at the other 3 site options open that night, and the only level, large enough one had the neighbor's fire pit directly next to where we would have to put our tent!
We didn't even stay! I called the next closest campground, Flintlock, and got their last tent site, which was cheaper, much nicer campground overall, and the site was at least 5 times as large.
We will never consider using Honey Bear again.
