We called Flintlock very last minute, because the conditions of our reserved site at another facility were awful! Flintlock was fantastic – the tent site was far from the bathhouse, but was right on a beautiful creek that ran through the whole campground. There were quite a few RVs, but that didn’t bother us at all. The site was so spacious length-wise, we could have played football in the grass beside our tent. The neighboring sites on the side weren't too close, and the layout of each helped keep some privacy. Water and electric are bonuses too! The office staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots of seasonal campers so it was pretty crowded but overall a great place which we hope to return to at least once a year.
