Wow! A gem of a find. This park is for the most part, long term/or permanent residents who are working in the area. All of them are friendly, quiet and do nothing to deter from a great camping experience. The RV spots are wide apart with lots of trees and a pic nic table. The grounds are extensive, with large open grassey meadows where tent camping is permitted. There is a beautiful creek with an abundance of flora and fauna tons of shade trees and beautiful natural ferns are everywhere. The camp manager is Charley and he is part of the reason we enjoyed our stay so much. He is friendly, funny and goes out of his way to make your stay pleasant. He makes check in a breeze by personally taking the information himself and just handing you a receipt right at your coach! The area is within driving distant to lots of Redwood viewing and the quaint town of McKinleyville has all you need to stock up or dine out!The weather is cool, not over 62 daytimes anyday we were here..so it was kinda like having a "fall" vacation for us Southern CA folks. Oh yeah and the cost is perfect! only $28.00 per nite and includes WIFI and Cable. In my opinion a great stay!
