The owner of this campground needs to sell it to a capable owner. The staff in the store (whom I believe to be the owner and his girlfriend) were rude, the bath houses and showers were absolutely disgusting, the dumpsters were overflowing and full of maggots, last year we camped there during Memorial Day weekend and there were great activities for the kids which at least made us decide to come back but apparantley they cannot keep staff because the fun upbeat girl who did the activities is no longer there and the owners did the activities and made you feel like you were imposing on them.

Great location. River and swimming on-site. Close to all area attractions. Owners are courteous and thoughtful. I have camped here on and off since 1997 and would highly recommend this campground.

We loved it! Will definately return next year. George and Edith, the owners are really nice and they did a huge bonfire and amazing firework display for July 4th that was really impressive. The grounds were immaculate.

First , I did find the owner to be very friendly . The overall condition of the campgrounds is well maintained. The restrooms are old and worn out, just concrete block walls with a dozen coats of paint with rusting plumbing pipes and spider webs and bugs on screens.Really can not understand why owner would expect his camp ground guests to be happy when they first step into the restroom , yuk! He does not seem to be concerned at all , really not exceptable at this day and age.

On a positive note. The grounds are immaculate. On a negative note. The bathrooms do need to be updated but they were clean. There is no cell coverage, cable or internetat your site. You have to go to the office to get your internet. The owners are not overly friendly. After the holiday weekend, there was hardly any campers. The campers that were there were very friendly. Not much to do during the week.

i took my family camping and had a river site. The bathrooms need to be updated, the pay phone didnt even work,no cell phone serviec at all. There was hardly anyone around. The staff and owners attitude was awefull. We had to put out our fire my midnight eventhough it was very low. Not a friendly place to visit aven though they advertise a friendly place. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends or co-workers. Sites were small as well. Pool needs to be upgraded as well.
