||Great little park nestled amongst three rivers. Friendly, laid-back staff. Nicely wooded and shady sites. The tent specific area sites were a bit tight together and the ground is flat (it was very wet when I visited) so I opted for the main campground. Tenters, be advised the the main campground sites are all paved back-ins so if you plan on staking the tent, you'll need to bring some rope.
The Collins River Trail is a nice 3 mile loop... not quite moderate as advertised, but probably more "easy plus" and would be fun for children/families.
Lots of great viewing points in the park for the roaring river and waterfalls.. very interesting place to look around. |
