Because our plans for the weekend came together so late I could not find an open camp site anywhere within 75 miles of our home until I reached Eagles Peak. They had 3 tent sites left, so we booked it. I was taking my 5 year old grandson camping for the first time and the fact that this place had so much entertainment--"fun Zone with water slides, pool, RC race car tracks, "Gaga ball" ring, playground, mini-golf, etc. I knew he would have fun. My fear then and now is that he would think camping was going to a resort park, and not a chance to get into nature, hike, canoe, fish, etc. But he was happy and we still did the whole campfire, S’mores and starry night experience and he loved sleeping in his Lightning McQueen sleeping bag. This is an RV Park, and 90% seasonal visitors. As you would expect nice community but not my cup of tea when it comes to getting away. But everything was well done, clean, friendly service and prices in shop reasonable and fair. The big downside was that quiet time on the weekend doesn’t begin until 11:00 p.m.and the night we were there the resort’s nighttime activity was a DJ and dance party—so the music blared throughout the campsight until 11:00—then cars and the zillion golf carts every one had there and the teens laughing and talking, on until at least 11:15 or later. The bathhouse with toilets and shower was a long walk up a hill—a pain when you are exhausted or in the middle

This place turned us into campers..... Really! Our grandchildren and children wanted us to go with them last year. It was our first time camping. Eagles Peak made us fall in love with camping! The place its very charming and the staff is wonderful. We went back 5 more times. We are now serious campers. We went for opening weekend this year in March. We will be back in October to finish our season. Eagles Peak is owned by AB. We are off to check out some of their other places they own this year. The country store is cute. The pool its nice and clean. They have a cute swim up snack bar. Lots of activities. Nice clean hot showers and bathrooms. Last time we were there, they were upgrading the free miniature golf. Can not wait to go back. Candido & Anna from Philly

Great campground with many wooded sites. Stone roads on hilly terrain. Campsites are large for big rigs but the stone roads on hilly terrain can be a slight problem for traction-used 4-wheel once to pull out of campground (stones). Nice pool and beautiful surroundings in farms. The paved road leading to campground is steep-part of the adventure! Take the campground directions---not mapquest!

I've camped there for over 7 years. It has a great childrens pool as well as an adult pool. They have special weekend activities including bingo weekly. The workers are pleasant and camping there is fun. If you prefer trees camp in the 200 # sites. If you want no trees there is the meadow area.
