Nice enough area by the river ... when it's sunny out, however once it rains the whole campsite turns into one giant MUD BOG! Lakes of water on the "roads". Absolutely horrible. Hardly any room to maneuver any trailer over 20'. Poorly laid out sharp turns, narrow roads full of potholes. WAY overpriced! Only 15 amp power available. We were rained out & left one day early with no offer of any refund, just a "better luck next time" ... There won't be a "next time!" MUCH nicer places to be camping in Alberta to waste time and money here. Lesson learned.

Washrooms poorly equipped and very small toilet stalls. Few amenities. Not a place for retirees or full time RV-ers who tend to expect greater service than is offered here. Boil water order in effect since summer 2007, but not posted on website. Tons of rules, poorly enforced unless there is a fee associated with the rule. A friend who lived locallt came to visit us for 90 minutes and was expected to pay a $10 fee. We had a 36 fifth wheel with 3 adults and had full service hook up. We paid less per night than our relatives who were 4 people in a tent on tiny, muddy site. Quiet hour is supposed to start at 11 PM, but noisy partying was going on until 3 AM. Caters to family camping in small trailers and tents. The day after it rained, water ran brown in our bathroom. Would not recommend to anyone.
