Very clean, quiet place (except for when the Silverton/Durango trains go by!) We have a young dog who needs to run her energy out. This place has a wonderful fenced dog park where your dog can go off-leash and run. Exceptionally clean restrooms, showers and laundry areas. Helpful, friendly staff, including a dog walker for the day you ride the train. Lovely shaded patio by office and laundry room to sit and read or just relax. Our site a bit short but has extra area next to site to park vehicle.Will come back here.

I liked this place. There is a fairly open area in the front for "big rigs". Behind the store/office is an area of pull throughs and back-ins which is nicely treed, if somewhat cramped. The free Wifi was nice and worked well. We really enjoyed the "dog sitters" who would come to the trailer twice a day to walk our dogs (for a fee) which is necessary if you take the narrow gauge railroad.

Not our favorite campground in the area, but they do the best with what they have. Hardly any trees, so pretty much like a parking lot. Free WIFI did work well from our site. Clean pool and bathrooms.
