We have stayed at this campground twice and enjoyed it each time. The campsite we stayed at both times were located right next to the creek. Lovely shaded sites with the sound of the creek made our stay here very relaxing. Fire rings are at each campsite along with picnic tables. The kids enjoyed the pool. We will most certainly camp here again!

Beautiful spots, we had 4 spots all in a row on the creek (2 RV, 2 tent). It was great to hear the creek at night. The kids loved the pool. Showers were clean and owners were great. We enjoyed being close to town, yet away from it all. Kids loved the wildlife that wandered through the camp too. Only down side to us was no firepits but we managed just fine without.

This is a wonderful campground! It is located in a quiet valley that is just minutes away from Durango. The owners, Cheryl and Joe, are gracious hosts. There are several very nice host couples who guide you to your site, tour the area to see if there is anything to be done, keep the campground meticulously neat, or stop for a friendly talk. A previous review notes that not all campsites are created equal, but we were satisfied with ours, and most are very nice, if somewhat close together. Other guests are sociable, and we enjoyed the ice cream social. This is definitely a destination campground; we stayed for over a week. The only thing missing was a WiFi connection.

Well run, clean restrooms and showers, quiet as advertised and a very helpful staff. They help you park your rig. We enjoyed the beautiful location, convenient to town and a true rocky mtn. setting. Hot coffee, ice cream socials and good local advice from Joe and Cheryl.

Our favorite campground in the Durango area. Beautiful spot and great sites right along the creek. We were lucky enough to get one this visit. Very peaceful. Staff is helpful and verfy friendly. They even sent us a thank you card after our stay!
