Beach a little far away from the campsites, but it is a nice beach and nice water. Beautiful scenery around the area. Not much to do in the campground for the kids other than play at the playground, pick blueberries,or run to see the trains. Very sandy/dirt campsites, always felt dirty. Trains go by frequently and sound horn due to the intersection. Wake you up during the night, generally 4 a night or early morning. Bathrooms smelly.

Average campsite, nice big private sites. Mostly well covered by trees. Constant loud train traffic on very busy train tracks adjacant to campground, unfortunately all trains using loud horns all night, as many as 10 trains each night made sleeping well difficult. Ear plugs a must. Only one comfort station with 5 showers for 80 sites. Lots of mosquitoes and Deerflies. Beaches nice and sandy and lake good for swimming. Limited hiking and biking trails, only 3km total. Not too many extra things to do except eat, swim, try to sleep and leave to visit Sudbury or other attractions. As a keen mountainbiker, there are not too many places to ride, had to resort to riding on side roads and getting lost on fishermans ATV tracks into the bush and hope not to be attacked by bears! Overall, not a bad place, but not overly great either.
