Well cared for park with friendly staff. The swimming area is not the best but on a hot day it sure felt good to get wet. The spaces are level and have plenty of room. We only live 32 minutes from the park but it is still far enough away to relax. The game room was locked and not sure why because it said open hours and it was locked and no one around the building. Still very relaxing and the highway was not a noise problem.

A newer and well kept park. Sites don't have shade and they are relatively close together. Wifi was very good and waterpressure was high. The feeling was that it was a park for the older crowd (not particularly kid friendly). The area is very beautiful and there is much to do. Noise from the road and lumber mill was minimal.

Sites are to close and the wood mill makes noise all night. I now live here and definately would not recommend this park, especially if they say it is waterfront. Far from it and expensive.

We've stayed at this RV Park three times and plan on staying there again when in the area. A wonderful RV Park and very very kid friendly. There is beach access to the Spokane river with beach chairs and umbrellas. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean private bathrooms with showers with I like. Blackwell Island RV Park owns several small watercrafts with it rents to it's customers at a very reasonable rate. We got a 12 person party for $300.00 from 8:00 to 6:00. We were quoted quite a bit more from a private company in downtown Couerd'Alene.

This is a very nice RV park, very clean. We thought the fee was steep for this time of the year, the park was only about one fifth full, the most we have paid after a month on the road. Not very quiet, US 95 to the west, a logging mill that operates about 18 hours a day to the east on the Spokane River. Cleaning service comes by daily offering washing and drying, $2 a foot. Overall, satisfied with the park.

We stayed at Blackwell RV park in Couer D'Alene last summer. Good things: - very close to town - right on the water - Sites are level - People were friendly Bad things: - very expensive - very few trees - kind of like a big parking lot - Even though you are right on the water, the views are not great The next time we get to that area of the country we will probably look at staying somewhere else. The area is absolutely beautiful.

Nice RV Park with well spaced sites - most of which are pull thrus. No firepits. Very few trees and no shade. The bathrooms are clean and are the family style bathroom with sink, shower and toilet all in one room. Place can be noisy because of the lumber mill next door.
