My family and I are from Oklahoma City Area. We spent 3-4 days at the campground 2 years ago. It was the best vacation that we have ever had the people where very helpful and went out of there way to help you. I would highly recommend this campground to any one in the area or come to the state of Maine. The place is well kept and has organized activities for the kids. I would recommend that you stock up on supplies before arriving. They do have a small country store but it tends to get a little expensive if you have to keep buying things over and over again. Also the country store has homemade snacks everyday it was super esp the moon pies.

It is an absolutely beautiful undeveloped area with the campground located on a 17 mile long lake. The land surrouding is undeveloped, remote and very rustic. It's very common to see loons, eagles, and moose. This campground is for people who enjoy being way off the beaten path and don't mind not having resort facilities. This is for people who get their recreation from swimming, boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities. The campground has an on site bakery, full service marina and scheduled activities. There are no gamerooms, no playgrounds, just really great camping! Electricity is only available from 6:00 am until 11:00 pm when the generator is running. No phone lines, no cell phone reception, no cable, but electric (by generator) and water at every site except remote wilderness sites. Several remote wilderness sites available but accessible by boat only!
