Campground is new and modern. Most sites are long level pull thrus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restroom and shower very clean and modern, but the number of showers and toilets a bit low for this size campground. Because the campground is new there was no shade. It was 90+ during our stay so the A/C worked overtime. WiFi was weak and sporatic at our site. There is a RR track about 1 mile away, running all night, and blows whistle going through Cave City. I found it necessary to close my windows. This is the nicest campground in the area.

Great easy to access large sites. Angled parking and 30' of grass between sites made for a pleasant stay. Free WiFi, close to restraunts. Clean laundry and restrooms. Would stay again.

The park is new, almost too new. It is indeed, very 'big rig friendly', but I would not call it 'family friendly'. The roads, as well as the pull-thrus are crushed stone, there is a narrow spit of grass between the sites. There is a nice covered shelter with many picnic tables, perfect for club meeting, this are is also the camp fire pit area as there are no fire rings anywhere else in the park. Kids might be drawn to the train tracks, the trains run about every 18 minutes, most of the time, they do not blow the horn, unless the deer are on the track or workers are out. Luckily, the deer only feed in the early morning or late evening, but rarely at 1AM. The only reason I say that I would not camp there again is because of my kids. If I did not mind the train, and spent my waking hours in the national park, then this campground would be perfect.

Great new RV Park close to I-65 and at Mammoth Cave National Park exit. Free WiFi worked grat at our site. The sites were large pull thrus, well maintained, and easy in and out for our big bus. Great place to stay!
