this was our first time camping and we enjoyed our site. All sites were paved and level with plenty of space between campers. we had the premium site which had a nice fire-pit and patio furniture to six 6. daily garbage pick up a plus the bathrooms were cleaned and well maintained. there was a great nature walk, but not a map showing the different routes. wifi was slow.

This is a great campground, the sites are well set out. The sites are clean and plenty of room. The location to Farm Store and Cracker Barrell , Post office Wal Mart are closeby. The Rest Rooms are clean and in order. Having a son and his family living nearby , it gives us a great spot to visit , site see and or go shopping off Rt 199. When visiting in Williamsburg here this is the only campground on my mind.

The campground is very clean and quiet. For retirees it is great. For families with children, there is not much for them to do. We have teenagers so we were gone most of the day. It was nice to come back to the campground after a long day at Bush Gardens, Waterpark USA and Colonial Williamsbury it was refreshing to come back to a quietly relaxing campround. Note: no camp store to speak of, but a Farm Fresh market is very close.

Storm had knocked out all power at the campground for Labor Day Weekend. The staff said if anyone wanted to checkout that they could do so with out loosing a deposit, and would not be charged for that day. We stayed anyway, and found the place to be VERY clean. Restroom/washrooms were in great shape and clean. Nice nature trail, and playground/pool for kids. Game room has a pool table. Not withstanding the weather, we had fun.

We were at American Heritage CG in October 2005. Very nice staff and is a short distance from Williamsburg. The site we stayed at, #3,is spacious.

Very clean well kept campground. Fire barrels and wood are delivered to site. You can take your own wood if you like. Really nice dog run. Much bigger than a run. Very friendly staff. The bathhouse was very clean and had a changing room in each shower stall. Nice homey touches like live plants in the bathhouse. Nice pool are although pool closed in early May. We will stay here again if we need to go to Williamsburg.

This has become our campground of choice when visiting Williamsburg, which we do about once a year. The sites are large enough to accomodate the largest rigs and many have concrete pads to park on. Many are shaded and most are grassy. There is a single bathhouse serving the campground that is as clean as any I have seen. The campground is convenient to all of the Williamsburg area attractions but is just far enough away to get out of the hustle and bustle of the town. The management is very friendly and is genuinely glad you are visiting and strive to make your stay a good one.

Location, Location, Location. We loved being so close to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and the Outlet Mall. The park was very clean, including the bathrooms. The fenced in dog run was a hit the pooches.
