We enjoyed our stay at Hi-tide campground! We camped there the first weekend of June, although the weather was not as warm as we hoped there was still plenty of events to keep our kids occupied. The grounds were nice and clean compared to other camps we have been to! Defiantly recommend it!

my family have named that place, Hill Billy tyde ! If you are looking for a crowded loud campground go there. Music over a loud speaker all day long and people drinking and loud all night! Yuck

I love this campground! The new owners have really made it a nice clean and safe place for my family. There is so much to do my daughters 15,12 and 7 they never said they were bored.Even if it rains They have crafts, bingo, games, and a movie room. And with any campgrounds there are free and paid events. But it is worth it for my family to have a great weekend.

Myself and 12 other people stayed there 5/25/12-5/28/12. It is a fairly small campground with mostly RV space. We had a large site which was located in a great spot close to the lake and pool. We had a number of issues during our stay which were not resolved by the owner. We had a neighbor stealing electricity and water and the neighbor also got into a fist fight with a fellow camper all while the owner did nothing. The same camper stole all our liquor the night of the screaming match/fist fight. The pool was scheduled to open on Saturday but never did. The beach on the lake was clean, however, the lake its self was not. There was overgrown seaweed, biting fish, leeches, and the lake was not treated with chemicals as stated by the owner. The electricity went out for several hours on Saturday and the restrooms were not clean. There were bugs in the sinks, showers, feces on the toilets, a broken toilet. I would not stay there again.

I just went camping there June 19th - June 24th. We paid before we had a chance to check out the ENTIRE campground. We camp in a pop up camper without a shower and toilet, we depend on the restrooms/showers at the campgrounds. I have to say it was disappointing. We paid the 33.00 per day for the sites with water and electric. You do NOT get to choose your site - you are assigned one and that's that. The restrooms were filthy, there was no soap in the rest room the entire time we were there. Some of the teenage girls they have working in the store are rude. Don't get me wrong there are many things to do there, but better bring tons of money. I brought 3 kids so these things add up quick for a family of 5. The pedal cars are 3.00 for 15 min. The mini golf is 1.50 per person. The swimming pool is 1.00 per person - per day. You could swim in the lake at no extra charge but all the toys in the lake are broken and they kept yelling at the kids to get off of them. And the BOMBSHELL... PAY SHOWERS!!!! I have never had to pay to take a shower EVER!!! But they charge you... they have a machine in the shower area and if you don't put in quarters you don't get any water and if your quarter runs out you better have some more with you. I am not trying to make anyone mad or anything I just don't want anyone suprised like I was. There was absolutely NOTHING in their brochure about all of these extra charges, Expecially the showers. Had I known I would not have camped there.

We've stayed at this park a couple times in the last two years. It's our favorite campground in hot weather due to their excellent swimming lake with it's big inflatable toys for adults and kids both to use and enjoy. Their new addition last year was an inflatable water volleyball set. Full hookups are available. We found the sites along the road to be a little more roomy, but have camped in the center of the park as well with no problems. There's a store, snack concessions, game room, and a pool.
