We stayed in the D loop. Electric and water are supplied. The bathhouse was the cleanest of any state park that we have been to. We had a view of the pond right through the trees at the back of our site and easy access to a small dock from which we used our kayaks. The grandkids loved catching fish from the well stocked pond. The sites were close to one another but we were lucky in that all the campers respected each others'space. There is a nice playground, and well kept sports area with horseshoes and volleyball courts. There is no lake to swim in but there is a "water-park" that has just a $2 adults/$1 children admission charge. A word of warning though, the water park gets VERY crowded. It opens at 12, and filled to capacity on 2 days of our stay (though it thinned out to a manageable size crowd after a few hours). Nevertheless the kids LOVED it. One tip: You can purchase your wristbands for the water park at the campground office. This will let you skip the LONG line waiting at the entrance to the water park. I highly recommend it! The camp office had friendly employees and it also offered a small selection of items campers may tend to forget to pack. We will certainly come back here!

Nice and quiet this time of year. Only 3 others in the D loop (Only 2 loops open). Only DE state park open all year, I think. Very nice 3 mile trail around the pond; well maintained. Not sure I'd stay there in the summer as the camp host indicated that after 15 May it begins to get crowded and the sites were rather close together. I'd definitely go back in the winter.
