When we first arrived at Suncoast, we were greeted warmly and led to our site, a nice pull through with patio pad and new picnic table. The pool was crystal clear, bathrooms immaculate and managers more than helpful when we had questions about the area. We were given coupons for a wonderful Italian restaraunt,Guaradanos and were also told of another local rest called the Seaside Inn...Both were places we would definitely go to again. There has been many improvements we heard from a couple who have been coming there for years and more to come.. We will definitely return

You wouldn't know this park is on busy 19. Beautiful trees in this park..the problem is there are too many of them. The roads are too narrow and make for terrible parking... pulling or backing into your site. Don't arrive on a Sat. office closes at 12:00..and you can't check in until then. We didn't get the site we registered for...a pull thru..instead they gave us a 'pull thru' site that was impossible for us to pull thru. We had to back in and that took us 1 hour with other campers helping us. The site we registered for sat empty for a week and then a tiny camper came in for two weeks. This made no sense..and no where does it state that our site wasn't guaranteed. We tried calling when we couldn't get into our site and never recieved a call back. The managers are on a power trip and have posted how many people they have kicked out of the park. We were there only two hours and six people came and complained about management. The no-ceems were terrible I had at least 50 bites at any given time. I would like to know who owns this park so I could talk directly to them. This was not a good experience!!

First the good things. The location is great. There are at least 10 restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Walmart and a huge indoor mall are 5 minutes walk away. There are lots of trees and most sites offer shade. The park is very dog friendly with lots of walking areas. The pool heater is fixed. There are organized activities everyday. The price, by the month, is a bargain compared to other parks in the ares. Now the bad. The no-seeums are awful and the new owners don't spray. The wi-fi is improving but slow. While the large pull-through sites are fine many of the rest are very small and those shade trees make it hard to use them. The roads are narrow. This combination of narrow roads and trees makes for many dents. The new owner is keeping deposits until you checkout and then issuing a check. This means he has your deposit for the whole time you are here instead of deducting it from your monthly rental. This has caused many complaints. A Canadian couple who left in Feb. complained because they don't deal with a U.S. bank and had trouble cashing the check. The owner told them "That's the cost you have to pay for being Canadian and coming here." Don't camp near the back. When it rains, the whole area is always flooded. The washrooms are satisfactory but not spotless like they have been in previous years. Don't arrive here after 4 o'clock or on a Sunday, the office is closed and there is no one around to help you out. We have camped here for several years now and have always enjoyed it but because of the new owner and his policies we won't be back.

Very narrow bad roads. LOTS of no-see-ums which makes it impossible to sit outside even during the day. Very long delays on fixing pool heater, wi-fi, which at best is not that good.
