This was a true bait and switch. We made reservations on their web site two days before arrival. Upon arrival they didn't have our reservation, they blamed Pay Pal. They tried to put us in an inadequate dirt and gravel site that was only about 20 feet long for our 35 foot RV. I refused to stay there and they refused to refund all of my money. The web site shows pictures that are grassy and shady, not dirt and gravel and junk everywhere.

This is the campground where you bring the kids, your bikes, your hiking shoes, and some wood for the fire. You are 1.3 miles on a paved road from the mouth of the Klamath River, or a short trail to the river from the camp. It is the home of the Yurok natives and it is full of history and lore. A powerful place with panoramic views a short drive or ride from this secluded jewel. It has a 'mom and pop' feel. Older bathrooms with showers whose temperature can change with a toilet flush are quite adequate. The hosts couldn't be more accommodating, helpful, and kind. Enjoy the huge old alders and a vast array of wildlife.

It is surrounded by Redwoods, and has all the amenities my family could want. The restrooms were clean and neat with good HOT showers; there is a laundry room, a store with a good stock of groceries & refreshments. The host gave us samples of their smoked salmon, and it was so good & I got a few packages to take home. The staff was very nice and informative. It seemed they were always busy fixing things up getting ready for the busy season. Full hookups include WiFi & Sat. TV. Several acres of hiking trails, and a “Bigfoot Trap”! Next time we are there, we are going on the Fun Bus tour to Fern Canyon. I have to say that this is now my favorite vacation campground!

This place is great! Days of hiking, fishing, beach combing and adventure nearby! Stay in a clean campground with showers and a restaurant! Heaven!

We had a great time at Kamp Klamath. The host was very knowledgeable and helpful. The store was well stocked even though it was off season. The full hook up area we were in had a nice big grassy lawns, picnic bench and fire pit. There was a gentleman laying fresh gravel on the drive, keeping it in good condition for the rain. At night the only sounds were the crackling fire, and a Hoot Owl. I will be back here every chance possible!

This is not an RV park - it's a campground, and a bad one at that. The 30 amp service continuously cuts off, there's no laundry facilities, no tv service, weak WiFi and the whole place is just plain junky. It's hard to believe this is the same place that's advertised on the website. There are very few things here that you see on the website. Not sure why but we will never return. We stayed in a Class A, crammed right up against another Class A - hardly any room for our slideouts. We arrived after hours, there was no one on duty, we had to make our way around in the dark. Worst RV experience we've had in a very long time.

Campground was found to be in a poorly maintained condition. The restroom's were VERY run-down, dirty and not stocked. The shower's were sorely in need of repair, the men's shower didn't even have hot water. Several dilapidated trailer's homesteaded the pull-thru section. The trailer's were occupied by a host of unsavory individual's who spent their time working on their R.V.'s until 3 o'clock A.M. each night. After the third night, I complained to the manager. The night's were quiet after that. We paid for a week but left about two day's early. Wonderful location near whale watching and giant redwood's. Would return to the area for more hiking and bike-riding, but would NOT stay at Kamp Klamath again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
