Campground is very clean and well maintained. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. They were constantly seen around the campground cleaning and maintaining the facilities. WiFi is only available near the game room/office. We would definitely recommend this campground to others and would stay here again.

Good signage to campground. Good area to park in order to register. Office very friendly and efficient. Access roads good within campground. Escort to site. The sites were large, flat and had full hook-up. Solid electricity and good water pressure. The campground was well maintained, quiet and a good location to visit the attractions of Door County.

We were looking for a campground in Door County and we wanted a campground that was centerally located in Door County and close to the lighthouses. After searching several RV web sites and gathering as much info as possible, we took a chance on Baileys Grove. It was the perfect choice. This campground is located about 1/2 mile from the quaint downtown of Baileys Harbor. We were there the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend when they have the lighthouse tours. If you are a fan of lighthouses, this is the time and the place. Shuttles taking you to the lighthouses (only during this time of the year) leaves from downtown Baileys Harbor (again, only a walk from the campground). As for the campground itself, the bathrooms are clean, showers are clean, sites are spacious, there is a game room for the kids, small playground, they have an outdoor heated pool and a small general store. Good Sam has rated this campground very high as well. They also have "the best free popcorn in Door County from 7-9 every night". Leann is the host and she was very helpful on giving tips on the area and assuring our stay was fine. They are listed as "big rigs best bets", only one of two in Door County with this award. Sites have fire rings, water and electric, some with 50 amp hookups, some with full hookups, some are pull thru. The campground has an area with mature trees, and an area with young trees in case you have a big rig and are concerned about height of your rig. This is a great location in Door County as it is on the "quite side" of Door County. The western / north side of the penninsula is more commercialized, but is only a 15 minute drive from Baileys Grove. Word of advice, most of the neat little tourist shops on the other side of the penninsula do not open until Memorial Weekend. While we were there, we checked out other campgrounds, and when we go back, we will stay at Baileys Harbor. My only reason for not giving this a "5" is that when we pulled in we had to exit the campground and enter thru the exit in order to back into our site. But Leann lead us with her golf cart and showed true concern that we were comfortable.
