If you like deep woods camping and seeing Florida as it was way back when, then you would like this campground. We used mosquito repellent and were fine, but you can't do without it. Every site was fully shaded and at night the campground was dark, except for the bath house. We made sure to leave our flashlights by the door of our tent so we could find them. At night you really hear the sounds of the woods. We had toured the caverns before which are awesome. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean. I didn't like the little cracks between the door of the showers which they could fix with a little strip attached to the doors. The spring was closed for swimming when we visited but it was still pretty.

Stayed here on the way home from Disney World. My son liked the caverns almost as much as the Magic Kingdom! Sites were big, level, and well spaced. The cavern tour guide was interesting and entertaining. The only 'problem' was finding a water moccasin right next to the swimming hole! Good thing my little one was not going swimming.

Our second visit and it was even better. We had a nice wide and deep site. We enjoyed a long bike ride (even our 6 year old can ride the bike paths through the woods). Only wish we could have stayed longer to swim in the spring or canoe/fish. A great value. Only thing to make it better would be paved access road (to cut down on dust) and sewer.

Excellent park! Kids loved the caverns. We also had a nice bike ride through the park. Camp site was deep enough to park and not unhook. Only a paved site with sewer would make it better.
