The campground is in a good location for Fort Worth and Dallas. Although near major shopping area and interstate the campground was quiet and easily found. The office entrance to the campground is at an intersection of roads and care and close observance of small signs is needed on entering the property. The office staff were helpful, but a little bit disorganized and trying to get to grips with a fairly new computer system. There are two parts to the campground. The section nearest to the office has a lot of trees and smaller sites which were not necessarily flat. The north section is more open with fewer trees and flatter and wider sites, ideal if you have a satellite dish. There are a number of Presidential sites (all in the section nearest the office) which, although have an outdoor grill, slightly better landscaping and instant phone hook-up are not worth the additional $6 per night. These sites do not attract any weekly or Good Sam discounts. Overall this is a a well maintained campground.
