||This RV Park sits right on US HWY 59, but most of the sites sit away from the highway on a peninsula out into Grand Lake. Highway noise is still a factor, but there is nothing but water on three sides of most of the campground. The full hook-up sites are closest to the highway and closest to each other with no trees. Sites with water and electric only have more trees and more space, but they are not in very good shape.
Could handle any size rig, but some pads are just concrete for wheels and are not properly spaced for big rigs. Some full hook-ups, but mostly water and 30 amp electric only; there is a dump station on the way out. Bathhouses have showers, but the bathhouses are pretty old and in bad shape for a "resort"; We had a few different site choices for satellite; Friendly staff.
This was another place that we did not have a very good feel for. Being a "resort" we expected full hook-ups on all sites and we expected the sites and bathhouses to be in much better shape. Even the lake views were not enough to make us want to stay there again. |
