Actually we stayed Sept 2010. The sites were gravel and very well maintained. Spacing between sites is excellent, as well. The comfort station was a bit old, but clean. Things to do: hiking - there is an old marble mine; fishing is allowed on the lake; biking; a very nice play ground for the little ones. Ideally, one should bring rod and reel. I camped in a Trailmanor 2619 and picked a pull through, but you could put a big MH or FW on that site. The host was very nice and helpful. I recommend it.

My wife and I have spent 2 different weekends at this Georgia State Park. There are 25 sites with electric and water. The park is beautiful, the sites are clean and mostly level. We enjoy walking the Lake Rim Trail, which affords great views of the lake and the fall colors. We will definely go back.
