stayed there two times in the last two years and it is very nice but what is that noise all night long sounds like a big fan running all night down in the woods. After that not sure will stay there again .

The campground is clean and has all the things that you need. However, no where does it seem to mention that there is a 24 hour working quarry next to the campground. In the evening and thru the night it sounds like you are in the middle of a construction site. It is horrible.

Very nice sites. Nice and wooded, which is unusual for a campground in the heart of Amish country. Clean bath houses. Nice pool and mini-golf. Good food at the gnome cafe with very reasonable prices, especially for a campground. Our only issues...they need to get air conditioning for the gnome cafe! It was hot and we literally felt like we would die when we went there for breakfast. When the temperature is 90 degrees outside the cafe is even hotter inside, as they only have fans. Also, despite being in the heart of the summer, there were virtually no organized activities for teh kids. Regardless, there is so much to do locally (PA Dutch country, Dutch Wonderland for the kiddos, etc) that we had plenty to do. Would recommend for anyone visiting the area.

For the Amish area, we love Lake-in-Wood campground. Centrally located and impecable grounds. Very well run and lots to do. Indoor/outdoor pool. Our favorite place.

I found all staff unfriendly when a problem arose, not helpful, the pools water was cold though very pretty, as was campground, things were to far to walk to. gnome cafe is very hot no air conditioning, as no building is, but camp store. This resort is beautiful, but looks aren't everything. Expensive

We've been here 3 times and love the park- Nice pools for the kids and cafe. We've stayed in a few different sites and like the area on the right where the cement pads are (I forget the site numbers)

Great campground. Very good facilities. Many things to do (ie mini-golf, fishing in a 6 acre lake, gameroom). Several pools including indoor and kids pool with fountains/squirt guns. Our young children loved the kids pool. The campground is huge so sites are of good size. They also have very isolated, tree abundant sites as well as open sites. We stayed in the isolated area and they had stone sites with mulched area for the camper. Very family friendly. The only issue we had was the campground was so big that we did not feel they had enough bath houses. We were able to get in without difficulty but getting to them required a very long walk or drive. They do rent golf carts. Overall though, we love this place and will go back this summer!
