I stayed at Oceanside on the snowbird rate for 7 months last summer. I was very pleased with the sites, large and extremely well gardened. As I was a last minute with no reservation, the staff carefully moved me around till I got a site I could stay in for the rest of the summer. I returned this Spring. The staff are extremely hospitable. My brother who lives a luxurious lifestyle said . "Lew you live in a nice place".

I have been travelling the last 2,5 months and this campground is my last and definitely the best one. You have spacious sites and each site has its own water and power supply, even the tenting sites. Wifi is all over the place and pretty fast. The guys at the reception are so nice, friendly and helpful. If you want a small a beach, there is one in 5min walking distance. All in all I would fully recommend this place to everybody, RV-ing or tenting :-)

Had a great time at this park! Reading other reviews, i see that the park used to be under construction...but its not now! The park is beautiful, big wide spaces, lots of sunshine. I had my grand kids come visit and they had a blast in the cookhouse with all the games they have. Staff was really nice. Will definitely come back

Entrance to the campground is not very nice it is on one of the local reservations although that is not a concern it itself dogs barking and gun shots are a little unnerving. It is a new campground used to be an old KOA but lots of work is underway! The few facilities have the nice new look to them two washrooms three showers and three toilets 3 washers and dryers in laundry room. Expensive to stay here and expensive to wash clothes$2. to wash and $2. to dry . $1 to shower for 5 min. thats it no other facilities. No picnic tables and the site is dirty road base lots of dirt the are larger than what you get else where but hard to get in due to posts and rocks at end of the site. No pay phone no wifi although you can hook up in the office during office hours only. all this for $50. night or $900. month. I will say it is quiet if you don't get late night garbage dumpers in the dumpster. The eagles and other birds are a delight. It is the lesser of three evils on Vancouver Island and that is what they ve going for them. So it is not hard to take for a couple of days to see what Victoria is famous for., but once is enough.
