Enjoyed our time at this CG. Large facility - two seperate actual campgrounds, we were on the lake side. Sites were pretty tight and really close together. They did appear to have mostly shaded sites which was nice. Facilities were clean yet outdated. Camp hosts were great and helpful. Close to many sight seeing opportunities.

It's a nice park BUT...It has the older bathrooms that have not been renovated like many of the other Michigan SPs. There are two CGs, one by the lake and one that's more in the woods. We were in the lakeside area. We were in site 119. Not on the water but a large site. Many sites were small. Also, during our trip there were LOTS of large groups using multiple sites. It was impossible to see where one site ended and another started! The hosts did a great job at keeping the noise down and by 10pm it was quiet and you could easily sleep with your windows open. It's a popular CG so make your reservations ASAP. PS..I would carry in your own water if you don't like well water.
