gave it 2 stars because it was clean. upon arrival was verbally assaulted by a patron who was sitting there screaming at me because my trailer was crooked and "blocked" the drive (even though he was able to pull up next to me to scream). then no help finding our site and when trying to get back to check in for help clipped a tree because there is no room for campers. finally got help finding the site and parking. very unfriendly people, nothing like KOA Watkins Glen, that is an awesome campground. never recommend.

Very nice setting in the Adirondack pines close to Lake Placid. Some sites are tight but facilities were clean and everyone was friendly. There is a beautiful waterfall next to the campground you can walk to (careful with small children).

Did not stay but did pay for a site but changed our minds immediatly because the reception we received was colder than an iceberg. The lady was the worst that we ever came across in all of our travelling. She did do us a favour because by chance we found a very nice campground about 10 minutes away.We are KOA members and we sure will pass the word around about this campground. The one we stayed at was the North pole and we will be sure to go back

This was probably one of the most picturesque KOA's we have ever stayed at. The mountains were all around us and the campground was very clean and well maintained. The sites were spacious enough to have some privacy. The store was large and had some great items. Pool was great and a good temperature, playground great for the kids. The town of Lake Placid was a 15 minute drive away and there is much to do and see away from the campground. Owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating.
