We traveled from AZ to CO and went from Grand Junction, to Estes Park and down to Colorado Springs, This was the very BEST camp ground of our entire trip. The spaces were large, the grounds were pristine, the staff was friendly and nice and the price was very reasonable... I would recommend them all day long and I will certainly go back. It was a little further out than I thought it was when I made the reservation, but it was well worth the extra 10-15 minute drive.

We went out for 3 days and ended up staying a extra night, because we were so comfortable. The Saturday night ice cream social was great, plus a man singing and playing the guitar. Great place and we are going back in two weeks for another great stay.

I was very satisfied with the my month long camping experience at Mountaindale Campground. The staff combined a high level of professionalism with a sincere effort to make my stay the best experience possible. The staff are very friendly and made me feel like one of the family. Sites are very clean and well laid out with lots of room. The shower facilities and laundry room are clean and well maintained. Amenities include a computer room and very good wifi connection. I will definitely stay here in the future.

Great park!! It is clean, well kept, quiet and cool. The laundry and restrooms were really clean which impressed us. The staff is very friendly and the owner is very willing to talk to you. They are constantly upgrading, sprucing up, cleaning, etc. It is about 20 miles outside of Colorado Springs but well worth the drive back and forth for your sight seeing trips - and there is so much to do in this area. We will definitely come back here as a destination.

We stayed at Mountaindale Campground over Memorial Day weekend. We had trouble wth our truck on our way. While there, David was so much help, he even did some mechanical work on our truck! We had already made reservations for the July 4th weekend and we were so happy we did. We now also have reservations to stay over the Labor Day weekend. Everyone there is so friendly. We definitely recommend Mountaindale!!

Campground is the same as earlier described. Toilet block/showers were cleaned daily and look to be nearly new. Some problem with bears coming into camp, which mgt has addressed; although we tried, we never saw a bear while there. Because of the bear risk, we had to keep all items except clean clothes in our car every night, but worked out a system that was not too burdensome. Very good facility and very well maintained; we would recommend it. Paid $24 per night for tent camping.

Campground about 30-40 minutes from attractions but in a quiet country setting. There are several permanent residents around the office area which provides a mixed bag as far as I'm concerned. Facilities were clean but there are areas of the campground that need to be cleared of clutter. They seem to be working on this. Best sites by far are the larger terraced sites. Worth the extra $$ for these. WiFi intermittent & no cell reception. Take a phone card and plan to use the pay phone at the office. The other campgrounds in Colorado Springs are crowded, in town and sites are close together. We would return to Mountaindale when in Colorado Springs.

Ditto to all the above! We went for 2 nights, and with David's help finding us other sites during the holidays, stayed 2 weeks. Loved it. Can't say enough about David and his staff bending over backwards to help us. He continues to upgrade the park each year. Enjoy.

My husband and I took our two younger children to stay for a weekend. We stayed in the Getaway Cabin which was very clean and private. It had a fire pit, grill, bathroom, and front porch. The area was remote and we enjoyed hearing the breeze shake the aspen leaves on the trees. There was a projector in the lodge that we used to watch movies, a pool table, a playground, games, small store, and covered picnic areas. It was a great place to take the kids because of the activities, and a romantic setting for my husband and I to share together. As a family, we travel frequently, usually staying in some of the finest resorts. We have just recently discovered camping as a way to balance our busy lives and bring us closer as a family. This camping resort certainly provides an atmosphere that is condusive to doing just that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountaindale. The grounds are clean, quiet, and peaceful. We have never experienced the level of hospitality and accomodation David and his staff offered to my family. We highly recommend Mountaindale. Thanks for everything David! We had a great time.

Very pleasantly surprised with our experience. The owners and staff were wonderful to work with. This is an older campground, but David (the owner) has put a great deal of effort into updating the location. The park is within 15 minutes of the south end of Colorado Springs, but you feel like you are away from it all. (We completely lost cell phone service.) Our younger kids enjoyed the playground, and our teens liked the pool table, dart board, and computer stations. They rent movies in the store, but you can watch any of the selection for free on the projection screen in the clubhouse. We are going again for Father's Day weekend. The downsides: The hot tub was not working during our visit, and the water pressure seemed low at times. Both were minor issues.

This Campground is a great place to stay. They are 14.3 miles out of the city on the 115. It is in the trees and mountains. The folks that run it are really nice. Free WIFI is included 4-5 bars at all times. Nice strong signal. No cell signal but the campground phone is available for incoming or outgoing calls. They have several cabins and a hot tub. It is very peaceful and it is not far from several of the local attractions. There are several full hook up sites and several water/electric. There is a dumpstation, nice clean showers and bathrooms, a play area for your kids and a volleyball court and horseshoe area, laundry facilities, rv rentals. grills and firepits. They also have a lounge with a big screen tv, a computer room, and game room with a pool table. In the office there is a store with lots of essentials available, Including ice cream... my favorite. If you are in the area you should definatley stop here. They are on the Passport America network. There is also an advertisement in their brochure for Escapees RV club, so I assume they offer that discount also. Open year round. A golf course is near by.
