One of Louisiana's newest if not the newest State Park. Large sites, concrete pads,50 amp and sewer in middle sites. Surrounding sites has no sewer. Great place to stay, and visit old Indian Mounds. Large lake with fish cleaning station and store. Padded water playground for kids. Can't wait to get back. Anytime you get around Delhi, La. you need to stay there.

We found out about this park from the Weclome Center (pic.1) at the Louisiana/Mississippi state line,it had been open for two weeks at this time.Picture 2 and 3 are of the campsite. All the sites throgh out the park are large with a table, firering and a post for hanging a lantern from by the table..The site we had chosen was shady with electric/water only since this was only a overnite stop for us. Most of the campsites have no shade, the trees are very young.Picture 4 is of the bathhouse with lanudry room that is air condition. The bathhouse is laid out with lots of room for prople to use.We had took a look at the boat ramp and fish cleanning station that in indoor and found both to be done with some good for thought. The only draw back at this park is the large amounts of mosquitos that came out after night fall, use a lot of deet. One last note, this park is a bear habitat area, there were no food lockers at any of the site, but they did have bear proof trask cans.
