This was our second visit - both over the Memorial Day weekend. The showers have been redone as well as the floors in the toilet areas. Grab bars would be nice for the toilets. They are wall mounted and since the floor was merely added to the existing one and the toilets were not repositioned they are now an 1" or so lower than before. This was our first camping after my wife's knee surgery and grab bars would have really helped. The site was not level but we had no difficulty leveling our trailer. All sites that we saw seemed to be paved. Ours had some shade. Considering the park was full there were no problems at all. Every one seemed very friendly and obeyed the rules and everything seemed to go very smoothly.

We have stayed here two different times. Both times we lost elec. and didnot get it back.so paid elec. got primitive. No offers at credit or any compensation.what really did me in was when half park had elec. and the other did not and park was half empty yet no one came around and even said hey if you want to move your welcome to.I guess thats the way the gov employees work though. Need les to say great park but poor elec. capabilities.I have heard many other people say the same.

This is a beautiful state park about 20miles south of Columbus. There are 2 things though that i will mention. 1. The electric service is poor. (there is a note in the park office that they are upgrading this fall.)2. Was the very nice bathrooms from previous years have gone by the wayside. They are nice buildings, but the upkeep is poor and you can tell by the spiders and cobwebs and bugs that it has not just been recent. I hope they get these 2 things fixed as the park is a favorite of ours.
