We went for the trout fishing weekend. My family stayed in our 23 ft travel trailer and 2 other families stayed in the rented cabins. We love staying here because it is clean, quiet and conviently located to nearby attractions. The cabins are new and have private bathrooms. The pool is clean and all the kids enjoy the Bingo games.

The campground is very small with only a few sites which is fine. Many do have shaded tree sites and the campground is surrounded on two sides by a river which makes it unique. However, the campground is off a major road in a tourist area. Three quarters of the campground were taken by enormous RVs because of this. We do not have problems with them but because the campground was small, the sites were small, these enormous rigs made the campground really feel congested and not very private. The campstore's prices were a little above average for things like firewood, ice, etc. The bathrooms were just OK, haven't been updated recently. They did install a new pool and it was very nice. If you have children, you would like it because both ends were shallow and it got deeper in the middle. So, one end was not completely crowded with small children, it was spread out nicely. They did have a couple activities our weekend. They had a live band, an onsite "village"/house thing to visit if you wanted, and an ice cream social. They had a haywagon ride with real hay in an old metal wheel wagon. We will not go back because of how cramped it felt and the average condition of the bathrooms.
