this is without a doubt the best keepted most friendly and pet friendly quite and clean campground i have been to yet. we have been all over the country and by far the best. small but beautiful with any and everything you could need. i would very highly recommend this to anyone in the usa coming or going up and down the east coast. thanks to the great family that owns and runs this place.

My friends and I, also known as the "teachers" have been staying at Bar Harbor RV Park for 6 years. We love it here! The campground is nice and clean, and the staff are amazing. If you like to fish, just sit by a fire or maybe even watch a beautiful sunrise, Bar Harbor RV Park is the place for you.

Only a little over an hour from me (South Jersy), so we took a ride down to check it out, then made reservations. Great place, staff very friendly. as were the campers we met. We enjoyed our stay.

The park was relatively easy to find though it is tucked back into a neighborhood with some narrow roads. It was beginning to seem like we were headed into a dead end when we saw the campground entrance. There is a gate that another camper let us through; I expect there was probably a call button but did not check. The staff was friendly. We had a waterfront site (about 10 feet from the water) so it was quite picturesque. The site was set up specifically for a motorhome, hookups on left, patio on right. Since we were there in the off season, there were not many other transient campers. There were several seasonals that were not on the water. Those were fairly close together and many were not particularly attractive. I imagine it could feel crowded during peak season as the campsites are not separated by much vegetation and are close together. The hookups were good and we had wi-fi and cable. Our site was a paved pull-in site. It was a good location for transient camping, we stayed one night.

This campground is very small but well maintained and quiet. Sites are spaced for maximum use with maximum privacy. Almost half the sites are on the water and the campground has a nice private pool and a private boat ramp with dock and boat slips. The owners are very customer oriented.
