We have stayed there several times going and coming back from our spring break vacation in florida. Always very accomodating. This spring was extra special. The managers Paul and Susan Von Webb are wonderful hosts for the campground. They are very helpful in many ways. We had problems with our 5th wheel, they where able to connect us with honest and helpful people. Trailer World right down the street where able to fix our camper a couple of days later. We meet many nice people in the area and at the campground. Thanks again Paul and Susan. There are many things to do in the area. I would like to go for a long weekend and just stay there.

Honestly this campgrounds website and the current people leasing the KOA mis-represent themselves! I spoke to the woman leasing this facility prior to making reservations. I was given what we now know were empty promises. They were supposed to have many activities for the July 4th weekend, which they did not live up to. We would have been better off setting our tents up in our back yard than spending the money we did at this campground. They do not keep the grounds maintained very well. The grass hadn't been mowed recently, it was much overdue to be mowed. The pool was closed, the miniture golf course was a mess, rocks all over the greens and holes were warped, the supposed hayrides were non-existant, the owners promise for scavenger hunts and a children's fishing derby were blown off and denied. Overall this campground is not family friendly.

Dirty, extra charges for everything. Electric kept going off. Only pull through sites are up front. Unless you have a small camper try to stay up front. It is still difficult. Not good, won't be back ever!

The setting would be nice with the combination of trees, fields, and ponds except that it sits in the armpit of the intersection between I-65 and the Natcher Parkway. Plenty of space for rigs of all sizes; All sites are pull-throughs. This campground was not well-maintained with grass growing up through the gravel in the pull-through sites. As a matter of fact, the only mowing that had been done in awhile was the cutting of the sites, but not the grass in between the sites. That and the double highway noise made this an unpleasant stay. Only the discounted rate made it worthwhile to stay there - well, that and the fact that there were virtually no other options.
