I am a seasonal camper and have been here for 5 years. Very clean and secure camp with very friendly staff and campers. Nice size lots with 2 fishing lakes, playgrounds, shelter house with showers. Lots of activities for children and adults alike. I looked at a lot of campgrounds before deciding on this one. It is the best and most affordable one we found.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The family had a ball fishing and boating. This is a well maintained Park with clean restrooms, a freindly staff and nice country store. We will visit again.

This is a great Family Campground. Quiet, clean and beautiful. That is what camping should be.

We have been to this Park a few times and always enjoy ourselves. It is very clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and the scenery second to none. We love primitive site #7 as it overlooks the River. We have enjoyed the Canoe trips, hiking and fishing. The swimming beach is a natural body of water and not chlorinated, but the kids had no complaints.I am sure we will be back.

We enjoyed a quiet escape at this great family campground. We were in a cabin on a wooded, lakefront site. We went hiking in the woods and saw 2 deer at sunset. The Park is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly. We rented a boat and went fishing in one of the lakes. The area is very quiet, only owls and crickets. Just what we went camping for. We will definately come back.

A beautiful park with a friendly staff. We had a great time on the Canoe trip and went horseback riding for the first time.

The pretty pictures on the web site for the perm. residents, so don't be fooled. Not for overnight campers. 95% of the "residents" live there, including several mobile homes (i'm not joking). 20 unshaded overnight spots right in front. Water is not consumable (can be used for gray water I guess). "Beach" is a muddy overflow pond. Bathrooms are port-a-potties, except for the shower house in the "seasonal" section a mile-half away. We love camping and we really tried to make it work, but for the first time in 10 years, we left early.

The Hickory Hills campground was nice. They cater to seasonal campers for the most part. Most of the weekend spots were pull thru with full hook-ups and 50amp service. The strange thing is that you set up facing your neighbor on the awning side and the fire pits were only a few feet apart. Luckily there wasn't many people there so we didn't have to sit there facing people we didn't know. They need a sign out on 231 at the turn and there's about a mile of gravel road to get to the campground. Overall the people were super friendly and the place was nice.
