This park was large and had a variety of sites, many of which were seasonal. There were a lot of activities available including day trips arranged through the office (extra $). There were also park hosted music events (scheduled and impromptu), exercise classes, bingo, cards, quilt shows, dancing, church services. The majority of the people who stay here are retired, so there were few children around. Those who were there were likely visitors for short stays. There are 2 parks side by side, The Oaks and Red Barn RV Resort which was recently acquired by the owners of The Oaks. The Red Barn is much closer to I75 and not as nice but is improving. The pools (3) are nice, heated, and there is a whirlpool at the one by the office. The jets were not working while we were there but the water was very warm and took the chill off. The down side to this park is that the wi-fi was horrible, not owned by the park, and not reliable. There was a $4 per day fee for little to no access. I guess you could go to the library at the park to get web access if you wanted to, we didn't. There is a super Walmart across from the park so you can get groceries and misc. other necessities without going far. Everything else is a drive to get to. We enjoyed ourselves here, would have liked a nicer site but it was OK. If I were going to stay longer than a few days I would have liked to have more options for what site I stayed on.

73 total spaces. The majority of the spaces were occupied by seasonal. 100 were available for rental. All sites were full hookup (30/50 amps). Restrooms and showers, CATV, dump station, public phone, laundry, pool, spa, adults room shuffle board, horseshoes, rec hall, lots of planned activities. There were two laundries and restroom areas. If you have satellite TV the old or original section is heavily overhung with Live Oak trees. Very easy to get into. All the interior roads were paved. Very pretty park. Lots of Live Oaks and plenty of flowers. The employees were great. Everyone we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everything was clean and well maintained. Easy to get out of.
