Nice place to stay. Pros- Has a wooded side for those who like the up north feel and shade. also has a side cleared of most trees for that open feeling. All sites are pretty close to the very nice lake. Swimming beach in on the small side but the kids can get wet. Cons- Bathrooms were dirty and smelled worse. If you don't have one in you camper beware! Trees on wooded side are very close on some sites. On others your slide will not fit in the open position, Make sure if you call them tell them you have a SLIDE. Dirt and gravel sites, at the end of year they need to be smoothed out. Fire pits are sunk all the way into the groud. Make sure you FIND it before you drive into it or fall in it as my friend did this weekend. There are a lot of leaves falling this time of year and they don't clean them up. Most campers burn them. I like this place But you have to know what spots are the good ones...

Decent campground with plenty for the kids to do this Halloween themed weekend. Wagon rides, haunted house, trick or treating, etc. Even on non holiday weekends they offer a nice playground, walking path around the small lake, beach, boat rental, etc. No trash pickup or firewood delivery. Full service sites available. Only one bathhouse and it was fairly rundown and needed much more daily cleaning from staff. Had to pay extra for 3rd child and a late check out of Sunday (which they forgot about and tried to make us leave early).

Both open and wooded sites along small lake; swimming beach, rental boats (non-motorized), minigolf. Some sites lakefront. Large CG, popular with locals. A few seasonals but kept neat and don't have a lot of stuff on their sites. Several couples serve as managers and all were pleasant to us. Extra charges for visitors; gated entrance closes automatically at 11 PM.
